Endodontic (root canal) treatment

All root canal treatment of teeth is carried out using the magnifier. To ensure that we can achieve the best chances of success, we use state-of-the-art techniques for all patients.

Electrometric length measurement

When carrying out root canal work, we apply electrometric techniques for measuring length. The advantage is that there is no x-ray radiation involved and patients do not have to go through a series of x-ray measurements.

Root canal work using machines

Using machines in root canal preparation offers the possibility of removing sufficient damaged (bacterially infected) tooth tissue while also ensuring the same high quality of treatment.

Important

Since teeth which require root canal treatment are mostly affected by a large and deep caries (tooth decay) or have become broken because of an accident, they often lack the stability required for normal biting. For this reason, after root canal treatment, teeth very frequently need to be augmented and crowned so as to ensure long-term comfort.
