We do everything we can to help patients who may be feeling anxious, especially since we appreciate that such patients may have already gone through a lot of suffering. Such patients, and also others, especially children, who prefer not to experience their dental treatment directly, may be able to benefit from our 3-Step Anti-Stress/ Anti-Anxiety Program.

Step 1: Viewing a screen or using a personal media viewer while being treated.
This enables you to enjoy a DVD, watch an entertaining film or just listen to some relaxing music.

Step 2: Dental treatment while under hypnosis induced by the dentist.
When hypnotized, patients are set in a trance, a condition under which they are able to speak and communicate, but during which they will not feel any pain. Treatment under hypnosis provides other benefits, for example, that healing can be greatly accelerated, or that hiccoughs or feelings or nausea can be stopped. At the same time, it is only in exceptional cases that full dental operations can be completed under hypnosis without the use of any additional anaesthetic. More time is needed for treatment under hypnosis than for „standard“ dental treatment and the costs are not met under non-private health insurance programs in Germany, so patients are asked to meet a part of the cost of hypnotherapy. Since hypnosis is generally only effective with patients who are suitable and who have faith in the method, a first consultation on the basis of this method is free of charge. When this approach proves successful, only the subsequent treatment sessions are billed.
